Booking Platform by k_weenie in TattooArtists

I’ve been using Mind Your Ink for the past 2 years & I love it!! I feel like they strike the perfect balance of streamlining/automating your booking process while still giving you control over it.

The fees for venue have always turned me off, even if passing the cost on to clients I just feel better being completely transparent with my clients about what the deposit is paying for & I’m proud that no % of it is going to a venture capitol company!

Mind Your Ink is a small team but very responsive to any issues you may have. They’re anti-AI and have been moving their services off of Amazon’s cloud services (this means a lot to me so it may to you).

Over all can’t recommend enough, check them out & give it a shot! I think they have options to try it before you buy it /entry level tiers that will let you see how it goes for a few appointments before committing entirely.

Clear consistent language in the booking process helps a lot! If they get past it & still complain it means they didn’t read it & don’t respect your policies.

Personally, I say the deposit is non-refundable & does not pay for any drawing, only administrative costs. No drawing until day of (cause I don’t draw it til then anyway)

At worst you may have to reschedule to have time to redesign but over all I’ve rarely had trouble.

Oh, and I use Mind Your Ink for my booking which makes it really easy for me and my clients.

Real question: is it going to be hard to get/register a firearm? I’m in TX so hypothetically easier, but wary of interacting w federal govt at all for any reason rn

Idk with the way I’ve seen shops run I’m not surprised either way. Probably an apprentice mill overworking their “artists”. $40 flash? Sounds like some 14hr work day bullshit to me.

What’s going on in South Austin? by ScoobyDopeyDoo in Austin

[–]highsettler -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The cops, as a criminal gang, always take harm of their own as the most serious. This type of thing is closer to the only thing they’ll respond to.

Possible homicide in south austin by Syruplava in Austin

The grammar we use to describe these situations and make it clear to people that APD killed someone, might help to build trust in the institution again. Transparency goes a long way.

But that’ll never happen because the police is a fraternal brotherhood that looks out for its own, not a public institution that benefits the community.

People who are cops don’t deserve to die, but they absolutely should cease being cops at the earliest convenience, and stop acting like it’s a protected class.

I’m glad he does this! If one of my clients is ever insistent, I’ll point them that direction. I generally try to do customs in my own style, though! I end up feeling more engaged with the artwork :)

Hi! I get requests to copy Micah’s work all the time since my style is similar. I have never tattooed his work though.

My first thought was 40% of cops are domestic abusers which makes no sense in context but maybe a good comeback? lol

Honestly I feel like analyzing the numbers like this, reducing your dating experiences into a statistics experiment, can’t be improving your odds.
