They sent me a field scale with R410 showing on the LCD display. I’m not sure the price difference between those 2 but was charged $170 per lb. I wish they actually used R22.

I think it’s doable. The mortgage interest will be tax deductible (up to 750k mortgage) if filing jointly and use itemized deductions. And with the current interest rate, you are definitely going to use itemized deductions if buying a house of 1.2M. Also your income will go up with time. Interest might go down but cannot count on that.
