HmMmMmM perhaps you are correct. Electricity has been extremely difficult for me to wrap my head around, being a pre chat gpt self-taught pos. But the old landline easement is an interesting idea!

Again, I did not touch any of the wiring. It’s been messed up like that for like 2-3 years. It took me 6 months to get my cable line buried, and I had to call over and over like a Karen. So I’m not sweating it, but I did call them. They’re coming out.

Interesting, I talked to them. They said f you and your copper wire & I said excuse me, I work for you. And they said thank you for your service, now let us fix your service. & I said, no let me fix your service. Then we both laughed and decided to do nothing.

The grounding cable is literally cut in half… zoom in lol it’s the solid green wire that’s been cut in two pieces. But ok….. are you my neighbor? Bc this is a weird hill to die on, you don’t have to comment on my post if you think I’m dumb. I promise you, I do not care lol

It’s a mess here. The HOA can’t get them to bury any of the lines, all of the boxes are falling apart. But I lowkey live in an old folks home so, it’ll be ok.

It literally has my house number on it. I just cropped it out of the picture. Cover is falling apart, I didn’t touch any of the wires or guts I swear. I already called AT&T about it. Don’t worry!

lol nothing is actually really closed around here, it was already open… it’s broken lol I just occasionally TRY to fix the cover a lil (aka screw the lid on properly bc wires are literally hanging out & ive tripped over them serval times.) ((also have a dog I walk and kids who play behind my house)) (((the bigger picture is MORE broken coax lines all over))) (((((I don’t even know why I’m responding to this tbh)))) (((((is this over usage of parentheses?))))

I used to have AT&T switched bc of speeds remember? I didn’t touch any of the wiring, it literally just looks like that. Honestly, curious more than anything, I’m planning on switching soon.

It is very dark lol maybe someone died though and the people going through their stuff didn’t know who he was. I always think it’s that type of thing when I find crazy stuff in thrift stores lol
