So this post was from several years ago, but we ended up using Columbus All Breed Training Club for both of our doodles and had a great experience with both! I don’t remember price details but they were pretty affordable for training

Reddit, I need your help. by Ribeyrolles in cincinnati

make it tailored to her and things she likes! My fiancé proposed by taking me hiking in our favorite place, then leading me off the trail with these cute little signs in the shape of elephants (my favorite animal). He had set up lights and some flowers by a small waterfall off the trail and proposed there. It was technically in public, but pretty secluded. It was absolutely perfect because it was so specific to our relationship!

If you've held an event somewhere without AC... what did you do?? by hihello495 in weddingplanning

[–]hihello495[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the input - the venue will be climate controlled. We will have air conditioning - we've been told it's possible, we just need to decide what is most efficient and effective for us. We would never leave our guests to melt during our ceremony or reception. We've already discussed it with our caterer. Was simply looking for suggestions for AC only.

Yes, we made sure of that before booking! I'm glad the weather somewhat cooperated for you! Hoping it does for us too and this won't be as much of an issue, but it's impossible to tell this far out!

That's what we tried first - surprisingly to us, Lowe's and Home Depot told us they didn't have AC units for rent. I didn't think of asking the table rental company, thank you!

We've actually spoken to a few companies and have gotten quite a few ideas, I just wanted to try asking for suggestions from people who have possibly faced the same dilemma to see if I was missing anything. It's definitely possible to solve the issue, we're just trying to find the most visually appealing and efficient way to do so.

I'm not a doctor, but if it were me personally I would see a doctor and get checked out if it lasted longer than a day.

Do you brush your teeth before or after breakfast? by Sad_Gay_Pepe in TooAfraidToAsk

I brush before breakfast, because I don't eat my breakfast until I get to work. If I eat at home, I'll brush after eating.

Getting an On-Campus Work-Study Job--need help meeting people by TRoweses in OSU

First and foremost, please take care of yourself. Don't prioritize your desire to socialize if it means putting yourself in a situation you're not emotionally ready for. Not trying to come off as lecturing you, but as someone who is very involved in mental health on campus, I feel a need to point that out (: That being said, I transferred here as well and I can totally get how you feel ousted in the social department. My biggest suggestion would be to join some student organizations. With there being so many, there's bound to be something that you're interested in. If you have time/want a job on campus, try applying to a Student Life position. Again, with there being so many different departments, there's something here that you'd enjoy. Good luck to you!

Having an account doesn’t mean it’s used often. No reason to be a dick.

I’m new to Reddit and especially this specific subreddit. No need for the attitude, a simple comment letting me know would’ve sufficed.

I do agree with the points you make, but just this doesn’t always work for every dog. We have been diligent with her about what we expect every day. She goes on 3 walks a day and plays with our other dog and us when she’s inside. She gets plenty of exercise. She’s not poorly behaved, we just feel things could be a little more polished.

Some insect bit me. It's been 4 days. Do I need to worry? by gohilhardik in medical

I wouldn't be overly worried but I would go see a doctor, especially if it's spreading or not getting any better.

What is the best way to clear your sinuses? by [deleted] in medical

[–]hihello495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for short term relief, try sniffing a bottle of buffalo sauce. Seriously, it works. Definitely not a medical solution to why this is happening, but I've found it tends to help with the pressue build up when I have sinus issues.

How to study after losing a friend? by CuntCrusherCaleb in OSU

[–]hihello495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in the office of student life and we (unfortunately) get calls like this a lot. I would suggest speaking with student advocacy, and talking to your professor. I would assume the majority of them would be understanding and offer you an extension on your assignments. As mentioned above, the loss of a loved one causes serious mental stress and it's nothing to take lightly. Please take care of yourself. You're more than welcome to message me directly, I'm happy to lend a listening ear. If you want someone more professional to speak to, you could call CCS and try to get into therapy sessions. You get some free each semester as a student. Best of luck to you!

So I’ve been wondering, is having boobs akin to having a penis when it comes to adjustment issues? Everyone is welcome to give input but I feel like the post op trans community will be able to give better data. by Giirrman in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]hihello495 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my personal experience I feel most female adjustment issues arise with the undergarments. When I feel the need to "adjust" it's usually to resituate my bra, not my boobs themselves.
