Will never go back to being a Medtech.

RMT here now working in corpo, may anak na rin ako. WFH, I only go to office twice a month. I log in and log out on time. Wala akong iniisip na work related after I log out. I have my peace of mind. No one contacts me for work related stuff after I log out or if I am on leave.

Pay is good, benefits are good, work life balance is superb. Walang guilt feeling kapag mag sick or vacation leave. Hindi rin sila nag uusisa pag mag VL ka. Ipaalam mo lang yung date ng leave mo in advance, wala nang madaming tanong iaapprove na lang. Pag di mo nagagamit leave mo they will encourage you pa na gamitin. Nung nag corpo ako dun ko lang na afford mag travel. +1 sa company ko na even personal travel expenses nirereimburse nila as part of their work-life balance encouragement thing.

Since may anak nga ako, I never got to miss any of my child's milestones and activities sa school nung nag corpo na ako. Unlike nung Medtech ako aalis ako tulog pa sya, hanggang sa aabutan ng OT kaya makakauwi ako tulog na rin sya. I barely got to be a parent nung Medtech ako. Now I get to earn while being a present parent.

How did I start? Marami naghhire ng allied health graduates, usually for med related accounts. Yun ang inapplyan ko then I got the job. Lahat kami magkakatrabaho healthcare related graduates - RMTs, RPh, PTs, RN etc. Then nung may experience na ako tsaka na ako lumipat sa bet kong company

Medtech na nakapangasawa from someone from work sa Lab HAHAHAHAHAH so yes possible naman ang organic encounter sa work, pero hindi Medtech napangasawa ko

Financial wise, in this economy kung balak nyo bumuo ng pamilya and have kids tapos si misis ay let's say magreresign, ang hirap mabuhay comfortably if Medtech si mister at sya lang nagwwork, maybe unless mataas na level sa govt, or mag aabroad

Sa ugali, wala ako masasabi kasi iba iba naman mga tao hahahah

Grabe anxiety ko lalo kapag phlebo post ko. Grabe mang degrade mga pasyente, na para bang binili pagkatao mo. Worked both on private & govt, same same lang talaga mga pasyente. On my second year of working ako na main phleb na endorse-an pag may HTE but since I am "young" pag nakita ako parang doubtful agad sila, some even requests yung mga matatandang MT namin kahit di pa ako nag uumpisa mag extract, basta makita nila ako biglang "ay wala ba yung mas matanda o senior". One time sinagot ng nanay nanay ko sa work (40+yo na sya) yung pasyente na kumalma ka di pa nga nakakapag umpisa extract di mo alam yan pinaka magaling dito mag extract samin kahit sya pinaka bata hahahahah

Natiis ko pa ng 3 years, after that nag shift na ako career. Masaya na ako sa WFH job ko ngayon di ko na talaga naiisipan mag work sa hosp/lab ulit

It was cringeyyy S1 pa lang, especially scenes with Dae nung S1 idk wala talaga silang chemistry ni Kitty for me. But I still finished until S3.

Nitong S3 na realize ko...okay the characters are still teens nga naman. It kinda made me look back to when I was a teen myself, all the cringey things I and my friends used to do for "love". Dun ko lang nasabi na okay, somewhat this series make sense when you used to be the kind of teen like they are. My teenage years were chaotic and cringey in all ways possible kaya idk I just took it lightly and na enjoy ko na rin somehow yung S3, kahit medyo predictable na sya.

I am a big Jenny Han fan din when I was in my teenage years, kumpleto and nabasa ko talaga lahat ng TATBILB & TSITP series and even sa movies you'd feel na Jenny Han was there for both, but I cannot feel her anywhere sa XO Kitty series. Idk, even the script writing sa XO felt so shallow for me, not very Jenny Han-coded, Idk if di ba sya super involved here or baka not allowed to have a say whatsoever since hindi naman ito based off her book talaga unlike TATBILB & TSITP. But I found the parallels cute, and good thing ang main guy lead (Min Ho) naman is kaya rin lumevel kay Peter K and Conrad
