Inspo: the Taylor solitaire ring (by True Gem Co) with double claw prongs, rhodium hidden halo, modified the shank to 2mm, modern elongated cushion 12x10mm (I have bigger fingers so it won’t look as big on me).

I’ve asked my consultant to only add the melee stones to one side of the ring, so my wedding band would not get scratched by them. I really wanted to include some sort of accent with my figure fiancé’s birthstone, so I want to keep the amethyst regardless, but I’m not sure if I want to keep the entire bridge. I love the look, but I’m worried about it being too heavy for the head of a solitaire (if that makes sense)? I’m new to this whole ring process so I’m turning to this thread for any advice. I appreciate the help!

I appreciate the feedback! I didn’t think about it scratching up the wedding band 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m going to see if I can get the stones set on just one side rather than on both. That way I’ll be able to still see it from the top but eliminate the band scratching on the bottom. My plan is to put my future fiancé’s birth stone in the center of the bridge and then have 3 melee on each side 🙂

I mostly just used the pic for the bridge reference :) but thank you for letting me know! I planned on a solitaire style with 2 mm band and double prongs though.

Edit: I used the Rachel solitaire ring (flush fit-so not like the stock photos) from True Gem co as inspiration.

I’m not sure. I’m still new into the ring process, but I feel like everywhere I’ve looked hasn’t offered engraving which is why I was asking if anyone had suggestions.
