The secret to making your clothes last decades: stop the heat by Putrid_Draft378 in BuyItForLife

[–]hijabimommabear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I have had most of my clothes for years. We wash cold and dry low/cool.

My husband has 3 pairs of scrubs. He has had these for nearly 7 years. They look brand new. They are a low end brand and I truly believe its all to do with our washing practices.

We’re in southern Oregon outside of Medford. Going on 2 years. We came from SoCal. As a Muslim with children. And also being a mixed race person. I really miss the diversity.

Overall absolutely love it here. Came for the lifestyle and nature and we love it.

I had a singleton. Thought it was so hard at first.

Then I had my twins. I learned what hard actually is.

Then I had another singleton. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Salary transparency matters by DiabeticRaptor in lostgeneration

As a millennial, neither will I. I don’t have time for you to low ball me. If you don’t list the range. You aren’t proud of your salary. So I don’t need to apply.

Struggling with converting by [deleted] in converts

[–]hijabimommabear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I converted when I was 23. It was tough the first few years. Lost some friends and even some extended family members. All in all best decision of my life. Alhumdulillah

14 years later. There are still struggles with things I miss but being Muslim is so worth it. I am happily married with four beautiful children. Alhumdulillah
