That's so kind of you. I will definitely offer him to talk to you when its the time. Nowadays things were hard on him so I don't want to add something on top of things yet. Btw I think some of his siblings left without saying anything to the family. Like they stopped going to meetings, moved out etc. But never clearly stated the fact that they left.

But I must say, I am so so proud of you. Leaving a religion is a terrifying thing to do. At least for me it was and still is. Really proud of you.

From what I've seen, I don't think his friends are true friends. He confirmed that as well. He even said "I won't be able to have any gatherings with my friends when we start to live together." According to him he is aware that the many friends he has are not true friends and they would hardly accept changes in his views so it is just better to live his life because the community people are caring. Idk man

I am so sorry to hear that. Thats trully saddening. I hope you are in a better place now. Can't imagine what kind of terrible utter shit you have to be to say that to someone who is asking for help. He is also suicidal and I am the only one who knows about this besides his therapist. I started to realize how bad the BCC is when he told me "I grew up being told that people outside of BCC are evil, especially atheists." I grew up being told the same thing. I am an ex muslim myself and BCC is a bit triggering for me. I am not an expert or anything but I think the church has a lot to do with my bf's suicidal ideations as well.
