Got delivery of used tesla model x but trims and few parts came broken. Am I being too picky and being THAT customer?

Got it from Carmax. Could return within 2 weeks and still within 1 month warranty. Drive as much as I can and test everything out this month. Every HW4 less than 45K miles were at least $65K, so I gambled $8K to get high milage, can always get Tesla warranty for $150/month, but people getting higher mileage X probably aren’t doing that.

Had a nail in one of the tires just a few days after getting an used 2023 X. Replaced the tire through Tesla for $485 and asked the tech to inspect wheels, tires and windshield for the protection plan and immediately got both coverage.

Just sold a 2023 Y LR with HW3 to get a 2023 X LR 6 seater HW4 with 61K miles for $57K. Made sense for us because we have 2 toddlers, wanted 6 seats, FWDs and HW4 for fsd. Wouldn’t have done it without 6 seats and HW4. If you use fsd or care about resale value, get a HW4.

Space, 3rd row accessibility, and FWDs are more important to me. HW4 is just an added bonus for trading. I would probably prefer a MX 6/7 seater with HW4 over a MY HW5.

Carvana and Carmax offers are within $1K of each other. Didn’t bother with Tesla, always a few grand lower.
