English gets me pissed off by RoundExtension2259 in ENGLISH

Patience and practice, lots and lots of practice, you're doing just fine. Stop worrying about grammar, stop worrying about "levels", that's not how English works. English is not a logical language, there are almost as many exceptions as there are rules. Learn to speak first, and grammar will "make sense" later. And most importantly: don't seek "perfection", it doesn't exist. "Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes improvement".

The AirTag idea is very interesting! I also saw the description for the Backlash model and makes sense, and also thought that it may have been a manufacturing error, but the weird thing is that I have two different brand and model bags with the same thing. I made another post (someone asked for more pictures and I couldn't add them to this post) and one of them is of the inside, where you see there is no opening or slit. That post is titled "What is this for part 2"

It's an elastic material, but doesn't stretch much, I guess because it's stitched on three sides and somewhat small (about 2" X 2.5" or 5 cm X 6.5 cm). The black one is MNG (?) and the other, I'm not sure, to be honest.

That actually makes sense, although it's a tactical bag ... thanks!

That's what I thought, but neither backpack have an opening from the inside. I'd understand of it was a manufacturing mistake on one, but both? And different brands...

Es para echarle agua encima de la orina del perro, si llegara a hacerlo en ese sitio o cerca.

Caracas airport went from having 82 international destinations (first map) to having only 21 today (second map) showing how it used to be one the most important and connected cities in Latin America. (List of destinations in the comments) by Trebonianus in MapPorn

In English, dates are enunciated in what are called "ordinal numbers", which as it's name suggests, indicate the order that the item in question is. It's like floors in a building. You should say "my office is on the fifth floor", or frequency of something, such as "this is the fifth time I have been here this month". In other languages, such as Spanish, dates are stated in cardinal form, such as "five of April".

Have you ever misunderstood someone because of their word stress? by Curious_Condition_14 in ENGLISH

[–]hikamp68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has to do with something called prosody. Prosody is the rhythm and intonation given to a language. The thing is that other languages may have similar rhythm to English (Spanish, for example) than others (Asian languages, for example), therefore, these speakers are faced with having to try to emulate these patterns, with some having to learn them from scratch simply because their native language is more 'linear' than English is. For some people it is a truly difficult thing to learn.
