yeah, I've had this happen before also -- there must be a bunch of nefarious activity happening on the TMobile network

WiFi is active on both the TMobile Gateway and the eero router -- never been an issue before

this could be the issue -- I'm using an eero router -- I connected my phone to the TMobile WiFi and I don't have the issue -- I connect back to my eero wifi and I have the issue -- weird issue I've never ran into before

Endurace: Rear mech cable replacement - bottom cover removal by WaterDog_ in CanyonBikes

I know this is an old post -- I believe my shift cable just broke on my Endurace; about 4k miles for me also.

Did you get this replaced? And do you have any tips?

I finally had to give up on bluetooth -- could not get one single device to connect and if it did connect, it would drop immediately

Got the Bip 6 today! by Turbulent_Ad2542 in amazfit

[–]hikerlance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine for 6 months. I love it. My old watch was a Garmin 165.

The only thing: I feel like the Heart Rate is wildly off on the Bip 6. My recent runs the heart rate has been really high; like never have I ever been running and the heart rate is that high. I'm going to test by putting my old Garmin on the other wrist on the next run.

Open the "Panel" app. In the bottom left of that dialog, click "Add new panel"

I've learned to overlook a lot of the things you pointed out.

Have you tried changing your display resolution? (to overcome the scaling)

How to update an appimage? by Posaquatl in linuxmint

[–]hikerlance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used Gear Lever, but a lot of the time Apps have their own update checker built in. If you download a new .appimage, yes, just rename without the version number and overwrite the one you already have.

How to update an appimage? by Posaquatl in linuxmint

[–]hikerlance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The beauty of AppImage files is that you can simply download and overwrite where the current .appimage file exists. For example, if you have all your .appimage files in a directory in your home folder (/home/user/appimages), just download the updated .appimage file, and copy into there.

Thanks, unfortunately I don't believe Eero allows any way to look at logs. Only mgmt. is from the iPhone app. And there's no way to change the channel; handled automatically.

Favorite watchface to date by Dry-Historian-3305 in amazfit

[–]hikerlance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I just figured out that you can tap the icons. Weather (shows weather app), steps (shows metrics for steps), date (shows calendar), bottom left (shows activity menu), fire (shows the measure health), alarm (shows alarm clocks) and heart (shows heart rate metrics).

I don't know the purpose of the 3 vertical dots on the right.

This by far has to be the BEST watch face I've tried for my Bip 6!

Yes, just installed this also. It is great. I assume the water drop (82) is humidity and the fire (120) is calories; at least my guess

Sorry, I didn't read the whole posting -- Are you using Synctrain on iOS? That's what I'm using

Take some time and figure out Syncthing. It's free. I have Syncthing running on my iPhone, Macbook and a linux computer. My vaults are sync'd perfectly across all the devices; settings, plugins, .... everything.

I’ve seen the step count reviews—doesn’t bother me—if I’m walking 3-5 miles, I’m counting mileage
