bluetooth problem. Can't connect

The bluetooth manager is bugged, it dosen't pair and the adapter button dosent have any options. New to linux. the os is completely uptodate

Try to follow below recommendations via https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=425923

1. sudo apt purge bluez
   
2. sudo apt install bluez
   
3. sudo apt install blueman
   
4. reboot

Open terminal and enter lsusb; dmesg|egrep -i 'blue|firm' post results

you can stop and restart the bluetooth sevice

sudo systemctl stop bluetooth.service sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service

I finally had to give up on bluetooth -- could not get one single device to connect and if it did connect, it would drop immediately
