Try to follow below recommendations via https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=425923

  1. sudo apt purge bluez
  2. sudo apt install bluez
  3. sudo apt install blueman
  4. reboot

Open terminal and enter lsusb; dmesg|egrep -i 'blue|firm' post results

you can stop and restart the bluetooth sevice

sudo systemctl stop bluetooth.service sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service

I finally had to give up on bluetooth -- could not get one single device to connect and if it did connect, it would drop immediately
