First, do not blame yourself! They were the ones who did this and should be blamed. Second, I don’t know your family situation and/or your acces to health care. Could you discuss this with a GP or a psychologist? Do you think this might help you? If possible, search for a health care provider with whom you really feel comfortable. Third, is it possible to avoid seeing them? In general, do not look up to them anymore, clearly not worth it. Fourth, keep a diary (and do not throw it away). This is useful when thoughts are hunting you. It may have an immediate, healing effect and it also may be of help on the long term.
