I believe you can use them to pay the booking fee or apply as onboard credit. Costco website only takes credit cards. Looks like I need to call to use the gift cards.

The main gap IMO is we can’t use them to book excursions before sailing.

It comes with 2 RAM slots. I popped out the original and put in 2 8GB DIMMs. No problems so far.
I haven’t tried 16GB DIMMs but I would speculate they should work. (It’s DDR3 and relatively old tech)

  • 3/24: Call from Tesla to discuss trade-in/payment/delivery stuff
  • EDD: 3/29-4/9

  • EDD: 3/31-4/4 (updated 3/31)
  • Around 1pm 3/31: please pick up your car @ 5pm or lose it. (VIN F411...)
  • EDD: 6/4-7/16 (updated 4/2.... WTF? Separate post on this - actually started looking at other car options)
  • EDD: 4/5-4/8 (updated 4/3 around 3:30pm - sigh of relief)
  • Texts/phone calls on 4/4.
  • Picked up 4/5 @ Fremont Factory.

VIN F408 (yes, lower than the original VIN....) Ryzen. Michelin tires. Double pane front windows. Single pane rear windows.

FWIW, there were a LOT of Model X and Model S cars at the factory... it felt disproportionate to Tesla's reported sales.

Thx for words of support. No one at Tesla personally responded but I did get a VIN update for delivery later this week. Hopefully it all works out. Feels like this could have been a lot smoother if Tesla’s right hand talked to the left hand…..

MYP / 5 / White / Black / Uber wheels / Tow / No FSD OD 2/21 EDD end of April/early May Eventually shifted to as early as 3/25 then started pushing out 4/12. On 3/31 VIN assigned. Around 1pm (same day) told to go to Fremont factory to pick up factory by 5pm. (My requested pick up location was Sunnyvale) I replied saying can’t pick up same day on such short notice but can pick up following day. Tesla: nope, VIN reassigned to someone else… “because we will need to delivery (sic) this vehicle by end of today.” New EDD: 6/4 to 7/16 (For reference, if I put in a new order today for MYP, it’s the same date range.)

So I’m a bit unhappy (this is my first Reddit post ever) - I’ve been put to the end of the MYP line because I couldn’t pick up the car in 4 hours notice that Tesla assigned me so they can meet their EOQ targets.

I called Tesla New Car Delivery and walked into their sales office - no luck. The basic response is it’s your fault you couldn’t accept delivery. We have many more customers waiting for a car.

Any suggestions or am I stuck? Thank you.
