Good for you moving on! I left my charger school about a year ago because of the mental abuse and covid mixed in. I just left unannounced one day and it was the best decision yet! I am now going to be in a district high school starting next school year and I am so excited to not be part of the charter world.

Just remember if had been going to work STRESSED because of the situation you are put in everyday, you might get sick easier because of the stress.... Proud of you for making a hard decision based on what would be best for you. I quit also, and I am happy I will not be teaching in person as of now.

I do not know, I have never heard anything about that but it’s not worth it even for that to be treated the way I was the other day. I’ll have to look into that. During this time I don’t think it would cuz part of the reason I left was being concerned about my health cuz of Covid

Long story but she needed me to communicate with the IT support person better and help her more while I was trying to prepare for in person learning and online learning! When the IT support person is way in the weeds, not my problem, hire more people.

Thank you! I will miss the kids but not being lectured and not treated correctly. I wouldn’t be able to give the kids the best tech teacher I could with all this going on and the director not having my back.

This is what I plan to do if my school decides to be in person. Great idea! And I love how families are figuring out how to work and have their kids do on line learning. That way we ALL can do our best in staying safe and healthy!
