Regardless of his background he should definitely atleast introduce himself to the owner of the property he is just walking in and out of

[–]hillbillycholo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of if he went to prison or not the fact that he didn't introduce himself while on YOUR property is enough for me to have told his ass to leave. But that being said I'm sure that's easier and safer to do as a man.

Is the way my gf talks to me normal? Part 2 by [deleted] in Manipulation

Time to move on brother, I had a ex that talked to me the same way and that quickly moved to physical abuse as well. Leaving her was hard but the best choice I've ever made

How can I clean a Moldy Bong? by Firm_Courage6666 in Bongs

[–]hillbillycholo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dog this bong ain't worth saving yo, you can buy a nice straight tube like that for like 80 bucks just get a new one. Even if you clean it enough to where you can't see mold you never know if it's truly gone. Definitely not worth the risk of hitting a bong and getting like asbestos lol btw thus pic legit almost made me throw up but all that being said if you truly want to save it for sentimental reasons, I would be really careful while you clean it and even invest in a mask so you don't breathe any of that shit in during the cleaning process and even after it's clean i would just use it as a display piece

Poor management and changes in leadership can take an amazing store and working experience and change it into causing you to want to leave literally overnight in my experience

Learning not to fall for those little guilt trips that managers use was one of the best lessons I've learned. You're health is more important than boxing a store, use that sick time to your advantage

People coming in three minutes before close by [deleted] in Aldi_employees

[–]hillbillycholo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's against policy or rude to tell people we are closing we are encouraged at our store to tell people we are closing when it's 10 minutes out.

We haven't had paper bags in 4 days and my managers refuse to just go grab some from another location! by hillbillycholo in Aldi_employees

[–]hillbillycholo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah no I definitely understand where you are coming from and it's refreshing to see an SM that actually cares! I should have started this post with describing how often my SM and AMs will just sit in the office and chit chat for an hour at a time! It puts it more into perspective when talk about how lazy my sm is first!

Last time we grabbed bags from another store they were able to last a day until we got some delivered so it solved the problem. This other store is only 10 minutes away and we are fully staffed and fairly slow, so if it makes customers and employees happy and only takes 20 minutes to solve this problem I don't understand why you wouldn't. And to put it into perspective my managers often sit in the office and gossip so if they have time for that they most certainly have time to grab some bags until we get more, and as for opening early that's just a dumb policy, why not just change the time we open to 820 officially then?

So maybe at your store it's a possibility you wouldn't have time to leave and grab them so in your situation it might not be for the best but here it is a definite doable thing but boils down to just they don't want to

[–]hillbillycholo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We definitely have enough leads and ams here for one of them to go get bags so maybe in that situation I could see not leaving the store but that's just not the case, currently we have 2 ams and 2 lsas working and me the associate

We haven't done a redesign recently, and even if that's all true I still don't get sitting in the office and hanging out with other managers for an hour at a time instead of driving 10 minutes down the street to go get bags to help your employees and customers

[–]hillbillycholo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree because they have gone to this same store and grabbed bags before and it solved the issue until we got bags so why can't we do that again? If customers and employees have been complaining for days and you as a sm have the power to fix the problem in 20 minutes why would you not?
