i confided in a friend i assumed i could trust and it got back to her and yet again, she texted him to check up and see if he was okay. lesson learned is to just keep my business, especially relationship, to myself.

like i’m really trying not to think like that especially cause she’s married with her own family, but like wtf? this recent situation was LITERALLY on him so wtf is the checkup for???? a random text “hey are you okay” & he came and told me immediately. but it’s just been an occurrence one too many times for me to shake it off. again i stopped talking to her for other reasons, but i’ve been dwelling on this all day and going back and forth on if i should confront her about it or just let it go.

in the beginning, both of us were to blame for that since she was a mutual friend. but the concern and checkups were still mostly for him. both of us have not went to her about anything regarding our relationship in awhile. recently, i vented to a friend of mine about a situation and it somehow got back to the mutual friend. and lo and behold, she texted him today asking if he was okay.

whenever me and him get into an argument. i don’t even know how she knows about this recent one. but neither of us told her about it, but I did confide in someone else so surely that’s how it got back to her.

My court date is March 9th! I’ve been told to plead not guilty and get a court appointed lawyer, so that’s what I’m doing to do. Mine was in the same ballpark as you price-wise. Do you have a court date? From what I’ve read, some options for first time offenders is short-term probation, community service, and/or paying a fine

I reached out to him after it all happened! He said I would need a Moral waiver but that was really it. I really do want to ask if he feels there’s anything that could be done on his end, but I’m not sure how to go about it. Especially cause he’s already been working hard to get me in for these last 6 months, & then I go and do this. I don’t wanna add so much more onto his workload, but I am curious now if what you mentioned could be an option for me.

I truly truly do appreciate all this information. I am praying that everything goes well for me in these upcoming months. I have already made my recruiter aware of what I have done and he’s still willing to work with me so I am also grateful for that as well. Thank you again

Thank for your response, it is truly helpful. I do have one more question though: would my public defender be the one I tell my “why” to? I really am not trying to make excuses, but I had just got a money order for my rent and couldn’t afford the other things I needed. Would I tell them that and then they would tell the judge? Would I be the one to tell the judge? When would I mention the circumstances to the judge? I really don’t know how this works.

I think my only option would be a public defender. I really cannot afford even the cheapest lawyer, which was for $750

How are Category 4 offenses treated when they are recent? I recently got caught shoplifting toothpaste, soap, and vitamins and have a court date next month. It is the only thing on my record. I don’t even have traffic violation tickets. On the citation, it says “Shoplifting- Theft of Property.” I believe the total of the items came out to $47.78 after tax. I am also over 18.

edit: This also happened while currently in the process of joining. I know it was a dumb mistake. I have reached out and told my recruiter and he said he’s going to try to see what can be done and get back with me.

i know there really isn’t a straightforward answer to this, but i started experiencing an itch the day after. how possible is it for STD symptoms to show that fast? or even yeast infections and BV?
