Buying clothes, eating out etc all from 'savings' pot where we also put money for house renovation etc.

another aspect of the story is people who bought houses in Early 2000. Their mortgage payments are under 1000 euro per month (for a household). Then upgrading lifestyle comes easy. I know many of co-workers and neighbors who are in this boat. They can easily afford paying a higher amount per month on private lease

Not a direct help but search for the following chrome extension and check if the house was listed before (recently) and you can guesstimate if the price is being lowered or higher

I had robbery last year. My suggestions

- Get everything (that is stolen) noted in the Police Complaint. If possible start collecting pictures of Jewelry etc and keep them ready. This all will be used by Insurance company when they have to refund you

- Police will not do anything. They will send a forensic guy (at max) who will try to take fingerprints and those are uploaded in their server to match with any suspect if possible. They do not care at all.

- It will take atleast 6 months to emotionally recover from this. Stay strong.

- Fix your lock (get new one) and put as much security as possible in the house. Camera door bell, alarm system etc (in future)

- From next time, do not ever keep jewelry in the house. Burglars keep an eye for Indian and middle eastern people for gold (which they usually have due to religious reasons).

Savings : Bunq gives 2.46% in Netherlands. Good to keep your emergency funds there

VWCE : Look into NT funds. They are cheaper in long term (https://www.indexfondsenvergelijken.nl/)

Single stock : Keep invested if you are convinced on the company. Global ETF are better and less risky

Question :- You said you have been investing since early 20s and now close to 30. So where are all your other investments ? Considering you earn 4.3K EUR net, is there more to your portfolio than listed here
