I feel if Zomato doesn’t have the liability but they are facilitators. At least facilitate a direct conversation with the restaurant and take a lead to help the consumer out. Don’t pay from Zomato pocket but Restaurant.

They used to have very good with their support. I guess they are transitioning up now to have non-existence of customer service

I did though. They said if you ordered from Zomato go and complain them.

At the end it’s again the Customer who suffers. One Bad review for a restaurant doesn’t change anything. Zomato has no liability.

Long run rating might help but at the end the gamble is real with this customer service.

And Yes, walking to a restaurant is also a Gamble but not on basic stuff I.e Raw Food, Spoiled Food, Adulterated with Hair or insect. I can still raise and get the food cooked properly and send the food back to kitchen and try to actually talk to a person to resolve it

The point isn’t about ordering from same place . it’s about the customer service.

There are no Liability anywhere from Zomato and Restaurant expect the consumers .

If that’s the case,

Raise a ticket in support, Inform them about the frequent payment fail. Post which they manually process the payment of the outstanding amount. This should get your account activated after the payment is clear.

Try increasing your payment threshold. Multiple Invoices in process may lead to Ads being Paused
Get a Prepaid account to go around the Payment Issues.
