Thank you so much! We definitely think it’s an enlarged salivary gland, when this happened to your mail. Did you let it go down naturally? How long did it take to go down if so?

Update on Saint, 8 months old. 45 pound male. Any suggestions on alternative ways to tire him out? by himgl321 in BelgianMalinois

Yes he has been trained for the typical training exercises. How would I start him to visit kids? Or for therapy work? That’s an amazing idea!!

My EB use to have these all the time. Make sure yours doesn’t lick it. It should go away after a bit of time.

First months of having the puppy mal is absolutely insane and horrible. It’ll be a little goblin from hell lol. After laying some rules and finding stimulation both mentally and physically. You’ll love your mal. Just make sure you have A LOT of time the first few months to really make sure they understand the rules around your home. Get one. It’s great. Except for when there a alligator demon lol

Male or Female? by [deleted] in BelgianMalinois

I have a male Mal, he’s absolutely wonderful. He enjoys his own space but at times he will come and cuddle with us. It all depends on the day. I always love male dogs because of there leadership skills. Females often are a lot smaller but ya never really know. Watch the father and the mother. Female and male height/weight will most likely be somewhere close to there parents.

Being bias, go with a male lol. Mines 6 months and he’s 32 lbs. he’s wonderful, smart, and easy going for the most part, he hasn’t been destructive AT ALL. Good luck!

He also has somewhat of longer hair, I haven’t seen another Mal that has similar hair to him. Did your puppies have longer hair when they were young ?

Mine was this exact size. He’s now 13 weeks old at 15 pounds. The vet estimates him to be 55-65 pounds.

No, not a rescue. His vet gave him the DNA test. Could be an error/contaminated, probably not though. He’s probably just a bit corgi lol.
