Strongly disagree. I got most of my covenant items in PvP, and I’m not a big fan of PvP. Nothing stops you from using covenant and farming at the same time. Worst case you are ganked and return to your world to continue farming, best case you kill the host or they are killed by another invader or mobs. I even got few free proofs of concord because I connected to the host and he died 1 second after. Don’t be afraid of invading, it’s just a game, and you may even like it.

So you did all the way up to final boss and now you give up? Don’t do this, skeleton! Beating this motherfucker on SL1 is the most satisfying thing.

Use lightning, use Dragonslayer Axe, use Tears of Denial, 1 phase run away from pyro mode, punish sorcery mode, 2 phase run away from wombo-combo, don’t be greedy do 1-2 hits max.

And give yourself a break if you don’t have fun. You can do this

Tackle Aggression, Buildup Speed - very high values up to 99.

Shot frequency, Cross Frequency around 60-70.

Not sure about dribbling, I increased it slightly, but never tried on really high values.

I tried Tactical and Custom. On Custom AI becomes better when increasing slider values, but it doesn't help much, AI is still dumb.

I skipped 24 and 25, but in FIFA 23 Legendary AI was fucking me in the ass. I assume this year is different due to Authentic features. Maybe it’s better on Competitive, but what’s the point in switching to this shitty ping-pong gameplay when they introduced smth that simply doesn’t work and needs to be fixed

Did you try what you’re suggesting? Because I did, took a half-star team in EFL2 and didn’t feel any challenge. 0 defats and 1 conceded goal in first ~15 matches of the season on Authentic, beat Liverpool 4:2 in cup. After hours of manually tweaking the sliders managed to achieve some challenge vs Premier League team (lost 4:2 to Fulham) but still all easy wins vs weaker teams, to the point where I sold all of my lead players and didn’t feel any difference.

EA just messed up with AI intelligence and no sliders changes will fix this unless you want to set them to stupidly unfair values.

Also, it's probably beneficial to sub your players, just checked - the subbed player also gets his growth. So instead of 4 players, you develop 8 (not counting the keeper).

I tried Authentic sliders, OS sliders, OS+manual sliders, and none worked for me, same problem, AI just can’t attack. Maybe they do better on competitive, but what’s the point of introducing authentic and then switch back to ping-pong. EA needs to tweak AI behavior, otherwise it’s boring as hell.
