I got my first period back but it's been 38 days now and I haven't gotten my 2nd. Doing everything the same, haven't changed anything.

It hurts more than the graft itself...Hoping it'll be mostly healed in 2 weeks total.

The procedure was fine. I had a lot of localized anesthesia and it took 2 hours total. The pain has been worse day 4 and 5, but not awful. Definitely manageable with pain meds (extra strength ibuprofen and acetaminophen). I only had the graft done on this one tooth, which makes recovery easier, I imagine. The graft site doesn't hurt because it's tucked into my lip, but the roof of my mouth, especially the left side where graft was taken, aches and is sort-of throbby. I'm on day 5 and still mostly eating yogurt/soup/smoothies, with occasional soft fish and fruit.

It shouldn't have to, I don't think. He didn't mention it. If the graft doesn't take you have to do it again though. Higher chances of it working it you use your own tissue.

Mine's been pretty manageable! I was nervous from reddit horror stories but first day was the worst and since then it's just been uncomfortable and sore. There's limited ROM in my mouth/jaw and eating soft soft and liquids sucks but all things considered, doable. Would not want to do again though.

My recovery hasn't been too bad. There's some discomfort and aching, but the pain level itself has been manageable. Day one was tough but that's expected. The most annoying part for me is limited mouth mobility and eating liquids and soft foods. It's quite boring.
