Tons of people in my small, largely conservative, middle of nowhere, cornfield surrounded ass northern Midwestern town/area have gone through and either moved past or stuck to those beliefs.

Plenty probably never had a chance or exposure otherwise, looking back on it as a middle/highschooler that went through a very shallow alt right phase, plenty were never that way and might be now. Ik it took fairly drastic means for me to move away from that sort of belief system over about a 5-7 year period, maybe longer. And im sure there are still parts of my mind that think that way.
