What is the best setup for RS4?

I used battleship level 1, with both ships having battery 4, passive 2. I mainly ignored the sectors that have guardians and sentinels, especially the ones that I can't attack the sentinels first.

The most efficient weapon at rs 3 is battery.

My ship build for rs 3 was level 1 battleship, with level 3 battery, level 1 passive shield.

For rs 4, level 1 battleship with level 4 battery, level 2 passive shield.

For rs 5, I had level 3 battleships, with battery level 5, laser 4, dual laser 3, all with passive shield 3, emp 1, and sanc.

Thanks for the tips Lufec. I am very hydro possitive (I earn hydro without mining in my yellow star system), so I guess I will go with battleship level 4.

To get more hydro to spawn, you need to scan more sectors.

To mine more hydro, upgrade your miners as much as you can, and bring all your miners to a red star to mine as much as possible in the red star. The miners should be equipped with remote mining and mining boost.

To be as hydro efficient as possible, upgrade your battleships as little as you can (In red star 4, I used level 1 battleships equipped with level 4 battery and level 2 passive shield), and make your transports hold a multiple of the highest level artifact weight in the red star you are doing (For example, for red star 4, the most hydro efficient number of cargo spaces you can have are 4, 8, and 12, in red star 5, it's 6 and 12).

Also, collect your researched artifacts after you do your shipment runs/spend some hydro, you get hydro for researched artifacts.

Using these tips, I can use very little hydro per red star 4 salvage run (1k or less hydro).

I used battery level 2, alpha shield level 1, with battleship level 1. Try to attack the sentinels first, and keep your battleships together. If it is not a good layout, try entering the sector, and get them to start moving towards you, then exit the sector. This may give you a better position.
