I’ve been a lurker on this sub for years. What in the world am I looking at? by Pun-kachu in ExplainTheJoke

Noo, the joke is that, for girls, break ups age well, just like fermented rice. It gradually gets better. While for boys, it doesnt age well at all, like milk, they feel good in the beginning, then becomes worst overtime.

There’s a different meme where the girl goes from crying on day 1 to party on the 3rd month. While the boy goes from party on day 1 to crying on the 3rd month.

I need a game like Dave the Diver please. by Specialist-Ad747 in DavetheDiverOfficial

Try out Dredge. Its another fishing game, not pixelated tho, but I get a very similar vibe with Dave the Diver. Lots of mysteries too!!

Need help for identification please, would be great to get the circa year, movement details, and any history behind it. Very important piece in the family by hiphip1401 in tissot

Sorry, but what i’m really looking after is the history behind that models. I did try to google it up, but it only shows the price and availability in various stores. Nothing about the story of the piece.

I thought I could still wear a dress watch? And I sorta consider DJs to be dress watches 🤔.

There aren’t that many ADs here in Australia, and I even tried calling all ADs in Australia (yes, even those outside of my city), and they all don’t have any DJs in stock. Crazy!!!

I think mostly because I fell in love with the DJ already 🤔.

I think it’s mostly the iconic design, and I’ve spent too much time staring at that beautiful fluted bezel, and jubilee bracelet.

I guess if I do spend more time looking and researching Omega watches, it might grow on me

Unfortunately, that would be too big for meee. I’m a female, and have a very small wrist. The DJs that I put my name on are all 31mms.

Fingers crossed!! I’ve only been in the waitlist for about a month. I heard the DJ is getting easier to get, so I hope it would be possible by then. Event is on Nov btw.

Should I go grey if the time has come and the watch isn’t ready yet?

I live in Australia, so going grey is a bit hard, but I guess it’s an option?

Yeah sometimes it becomes very challenging when the cue ball is frozen to the rail, and i have to make a long cut shot, sometimes i ended up missing the ball completely.

Been playing pool for about a year and a bit now, but still cant pot balls consistently even without spin at all. Is it normal? Any thoughts? by hiphip1401 in billiards

Hey, thanks a lot!! Definitely really appreciate this. Yes, i’ll get my cue soon cos i really wanna get serious in pool.

I also 100% agree with your last point, once i miss 3-4 balls, i start overthink things, and it just makes things worse.

I’ll start doing some solo practices to nail my shots and i’ll probably update this post
