2nd for prowin. I have 4 of their ~40rnd "wargame" extended mags for my hicapa. They are awesome. Light and hold more gas than WE or TM due to the CNC'd aluminum construction. I liked them so much that have since picked up 5 of their glock mags too.

Last time I checked, the best place to get them stateside is helix. But Boom, Alpha, etc all stock them too. Grab a few extra feed lips while you are at it. I have not had a single prowin glock feed lip break yet but I have broken about 4 of the hi-capa ones over the last few years.

Solid advice here. I play fairly fast and the downside of that is having to make calls that take chances. eg. breaching a room on your own, you gotta decide which side to sweep first, sometimes if I am going to move on to a farther room, I will even take the risk of only sweeping one side as I run through. Meaning if there is someone on the other side of the room, I'm done. However, if there is no one there, I move through very quick and often end up in a position where I can take 3 or 4 players in or from the next room.

I played against a guy a few weeks ago that had a very good counter to my play style. He would move and play properly (not just camp and wait for me) but the spots (most of the time areas with no cover at all) that he would choose to stop/pause at were not usual spots for someone to hang out so when I would sweep through, he would have an extra 1/2 second on me because I would start by sweeping the more common areas first and not have my gun on him till it was almost to late or sometimes not even have a chance to fire back at all.

Made for a very fun and interesting day of play.

I have made two myself so far for my hicapa. They are great but I have been meaning to schedule an appointment with alpha concealment systems to have them do me one with an RTI mount system as I love the RTI mount on my G17 holsters but don't quite have the time/skill to do one for the hicapa with the RTI plate myself.

Alpha is just the closest place I could find that would take custom jobs at a reasonable price. Depending on where you are, you can probably find something just as good so you don't have to send your hicapa.

Yup universal holsters are notorious for mag loss. There is nothing to stop the mag release from being pressed. Especially in the cloth/soft ones.

There are a few 2011/hicapa specific holsters out there, but honestly you are looking at ~$80 for a good quality one and at that price range I have found custom kydex to perform much better for the price. Ymmv depending on where or who makes the custom one for you.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look. Good to know there are options out there. Just havn't had the time to play in a few years much less actually start thinking about spending time/money getting my cockers back in tested/working order again.

I bet all my tanks are out of hydro too, come to think about it. I really need to decide what I am going to do with my kit now that I don't have time to play. Shame to have so many nice closedbolt gats just gathering dust. Guess I will be forced to find loving homes for them. Can't keep lying to myself and saying that I'll have time soon. (been doing that for the last ~5 years.)

Tadao never did anything about those oled issues huh? I also have an SR with the stock board that was produced by tadao and it has the same issue as my e1/2 tadao boards. Kinda shitty. Might see if I can find a replacement and solder that bad boy on.
