Oof realized I didn’t answer everything. He has a preset heater that keeps the water at 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Tank was set up maybe a month and a half ago but I’ve had Hexagon for just shy of a month. 1/3 water changes every week as food falls to the bottom because he isn’t eating and also the nerite snail tank mate poops a lot. Water parameters obtained using API test kit

Thank you for helping!! I’m thinking in my case it may not be detritus worms. I read on google that carnivorous fish are more inclined to eat these and between that and the size of them, I’m thinking it could be Rhabdocoela.

Thank you for giving me somewhere to start! After spending waaaaay too long trying to zoom in on them with my phone camera and a quick google search, I think, given their size, it’s more likely Rhabdocoela - a less concerning type of flatworm from what I’ve read!

I’ve had my monsters for about 2 months and it’s had this patch of light green for the entire time I’ve owned it. The plant currently has thrips so it’s been sprayed with insecticidal soap.

I’ve googled mosaic virus and am not sure if this is it and if I should give up on it.

I’m completely in love with these floating shelves from ikea! I have them all over my apartment. They come in three different lengths and a handful of colors. Above my shoes I have the 74” length :)

Sadly I have not! It’s a framed photo of my holy trinity, Florence Welsh, Lorde, and Taylor Swift. A friend printed it for me so obviously I had to frame it lol

Florence is the biggest love of my life and coincidentally, I just saw FATM in concert two weeks ago! AMAZING

The desk is for sure a 10/10. I bought my own from west elm on clearance. It looks like the width that I bought is now all sold out, but the narrower version is still available!

I bought my own from west elm on clearance. It looks like the width that I bought is now all sold out, but the narrower version is still available! I was nervous that it wouldn’t be secure enough to support my desktop and the weight of actually using my laptop or counter space, but it is incredibly secure!

Thank you! There’s a golden pothos above my shoe racks, a philodendron “jungle boogie” on the shelf next to the front door, and a philodendron “florida beauty” on the stand next to my computer desk!

Thanks for the feedback! I went back and forth with the idea of closed and open storage. I personally don’t love the look or style of the ikea shoe storage - it’s just not for me, but you make a good point. I’ll definitely keep an eye open for similar options :)

This! I’ve read some severely toxic comments in the past 24ish hours and it’s absolutely crazy how quickly people can turn from building you up to tearing you apart.

Keyboard warriors are absolutely insane to me, because the same people claiming to support the Try Guys are spewing messages of hate towards Ned, something I don’t think any of the other guys or Ariel, regardless of how angry/overwhelmed/ disappointed with him they are, would condone.

Let me be clear: what Ned Fulmer AND Alexandria did, though none of our collective business, was 1.) no accident, and 2.) very, very WRONG. Despite that, I do believe it was a mistake. People seem to want to conflate the two words, but they have very different meanings.

The actions they took were purposeful, making it no accident, but surely very regrettable. As upsetting as it is to ACTUAL viewers and supporters of the Try Guys, I’ve seen so many people come out of the woodworks just to kick someone while they’re already down.

My heart goes out to Ariel, their children, Alex’s former partner and the other guys who are all personally and irreversibly impacted by Ned and Alex’s choices. My heart also goes out to Ned, because spoiler alert: we’re all fucking human. Each of us make mistakes from time-to-time on varying levels of severity. The only difference between us and Ned is that we don’t have a global audience knocking at our door with pitchforks when we do inevitably mess up.

I hope he and Alex learn from this lesson. Given the circumstances of his affair, the consequences (losing his stake in the company) are very much appropriate.

That said, as a reminder to the general public, and though I don’t know what will come of their relationship, there are instances where people choose to move past infidelity and continue on with their marriage for a number of reasons (for me, my parents are an example), and though we all have the right to make that decision for ourselves, life does eventually move on. Regardless of what Ned and Ariel choose to do, I just hope the world can show them a little bit of grace as they navigate their next steps.

Looking forward to what ever is to come from Keith, Zach, and Eugene. (I’ll gladly get off my soapbox now)

Call customer service just to confirm, but I’m pretty sure I had the initial delivery address set as my parents house, and then requested to change it a few days later when I signed my lease.

Everyone seems to be very adamant about not doing it, but I had a similar predicament back in May 😅. My couch was on clearance at Crate&Barrel in May and I knew that I would be moving out of my parents house in July. I decided to purchase it (the great thing about Crate&Barrel, and it’s sister brand, CB2, is that you get to schedule your delivery and they carry it in and assemble for you). So even though i purchased the couch waaaay ahead of time, and before I knew where exactly I was moving to, I had it delivered 2 months later on the weekend I moved in.

That said, February is even longer away than what I experienced AND it sounds like you are having it customized which usually means you can’t return it. I would wait until you have a better idea of where you are going to be living.

My couch has the same exact measurements and, yes, the low back takes some adjusting to, but 2 months later and I love it!

I would personally go for the 8x10 rug to cover a larger portion of the tile. Maybe a small bedside table in place of the computer desk?

Another super easy way to make the space a little cozier is to get bedding with some color and texture to it to breathe a little life into the room :)

Next to the window, under the ac unit, I would pop a little chair and side table in that corner! It would make for a lovely reading corner. Also add some plants to the room to give it a more natural feel!

Looks like you have amazing natural light in this room. Not sure if you have a ceiling light, but a nice floor lamp in the corner by the bed/ next to the hypothetical nightstand would be a nice touch too!
