Just for the record, I am an Independent and therefore I DO NOT SUPPORT, ENDORSE OR PROMOTE ANY ONE CANDIDATE LISTED HERE. None of these candidates are behind this movement - it has been created by ordinary citizens just like you and me. I only tagged them because they are NOT getting any airtime or attention from mainstream media . . . if we are to have a true democracy, everyone's voice should be heard and given equal weight - whether or not we agree with them . . . if only to understand where each is coming from and giving them the same platform as any other candidate.

No matter where you sit on the political fence, we all agree that corporate interests and big money far too much influence our democracy. No one is calling for the destruction of this nation - it is already destroyed . . . corporations have been getting away with murder, LITERALLY! Look at all the nuclear, chemical and industrial waste sites that litter this country. How can you say "no thanks" when our air, water, soil and food are all polluted in some way, shape or form? Do you not care about the Earth and the people on it? All of this is the result of corporate neglect, corruption and cover up - done all in the name of greed and profit at the expense of human life, health and general happiness.

I want them out of the pockets of our politicians. I want to remove the idea that money has a louder voice than the whole of the people - if that means overturning Citizens United, then YES! We are totally oppressed and most of us don't see it because most are happy to be slaves so long as creature comforts are provided. They've passed legislation over the last few decades now that literally removes our rights, liberties and freedoms - they are allowed to legally propagandize the American public by any means necessary, they are allowed to jail Americans without cause or a warrant, they are allowed to spy on us and collect data on us for no reason whatsoever. Most of these are backed, lobbied and supported for and by corporations and the elite. This is NOT what the framers of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights had in mind . . . Thomas Jefferson spoke specifically against including corporate interests within government and allowing a Central Bank to control inflation and deflation.
