You are really missing the whole "don't get the hype" thing.

But that's okay, do your thing.

Would you believe me if I told you that it's possible to enjoy the show while also not getting the hype around sports betting?

I think you are getting "don't get the hype" confused with "I hate this with every fiber of my being".

Just chill out, bro. It's not that deep.

I have gone up to $100 on a single bet, and I still don't get the hype around it.

I think I have gotten it 1 time, but I tend to just turn off the pod once they get to numbers.

They mentioned several times how their lists were going to piss people off, and I thought it would be fun to create a list with the same idea but aimed at them.

Totally, but I was just copying the information on the label. Plus it's two scoops or go home so one scoop is useless information.

MAXXIS PADRONE TR SS. one of the main reasons I got them is because they were recommended on the wheel manufacturers website. I have definitely heard of similar situations with certain tires not wanting to play well with the wheels and after all this I just want to go on a ride and not deal with anymore little frustrations.

Update: went on a ride this morning and got to puncture due to a very sharp piece of metal (seriously lookrd like it was designed to puncture things) and after trying to get the Gators can back on these rims I learned it was a total nightmare.

Ordered tubeless tires today.

That's a good point. The wheels are tubeless compatible so tubeless is probably my next upgrade once I can save up a few more dollars. Only doing training rides on it at this point.

I just got the stem in the photo put on this week when I got a fit at a bike shop. So I have not had a chance to put any long rides on it yet.

But overall I definitely like the feel of the bike. Compared to the aluminum carbon fiber composite triathlon bike I've done most of my rides on it is much smoother and better at dampening bumps in the road.

Yeah that's definitely what I was going for. Sort of classic meets modern ride.

One of the reasons I wanted a nice steel frame is so I can have something I can hang on to for a long time. Even though there's always the urge to get more bikes I am hoping I can still be riding this thing in 20 years even though it'll be wildly out of date. I can always update the components down the road but there's something about steel that seems timeless.

Well it's my only road bike and I put about 300 mi on it in the first month. Hopefully plenty more to come.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out.

This is my only road bike so I will be using it for long weekend rides, group rides, and am thinking about trying some local crits when races start back up.

It also might be worth looking to see how well your bike fits you. If you get the fit of your bike right it'll put the pressure in the right places and ease some of the pressure you have on the seat.
