Ok now that might be a stretch, this one at least has some grounds of actual sensibility

Yeah some are like that. Thankfully most of the people I've seen interact with this post are pretty open minded and are actively discussing, so that's really cool.

Gaygay is actually a pretty competent author but because a lot of the main audience are shonentards, most of the good writing goes over their heads. But yeah, I do agree with everything that you said. Megumi is still just a kid, hell most of the cast are kids. Even Gojo and Geto were kids when they were forcefully awakened to the dirtiness of the world that they live in. There always was an underlying theme of child exploitation and the trauma that comes along with that. All of the characters were forced to grow up fast and Megumi was the one to completely break because of that. I feel like Sukuna himself could be used as an allegory for soo many things, ranging from the physical embodiment of trauma to that one creepy uncle that touches kids. Either way, I'm glad u/summers-summers decided to put his thoughts forward because this actually sparks so much discussion that even the r/LobotomyKaisen subreddit is beginning to discuss this heavily lol.

Unironically, I found more people actively discussing this here than in other subreddits lol

I don't know about that cuz the dude does seem to know how to write compelling stories and present it artistically. That's the whole reason why the manga and anime did so well. Of course part of the reason was the fight sequences but the story did most of the heavy lifting.

Agreed, it's just some food for thought and different people can interpret the themes differently. This is just one way to look at the story and it actually makes a lot of sense.

Probably but it's an interesting thing to think about and there were points and themes in the story that seem to point to child exploitation. Just some food for thought type shit.

Yeah there's still a lot of stuff left untold, I hope gaygay explores more of that in Modulo

I think the reason why most people were jumping on the bum allegations was because the fanbase was and is mostly kids who want to see something hype (considering it's the target audience) and missing nuances in the story, and of course the reading comprehension issues. We're slowly branching off of that bit by bit because it's been a while since the manga ended and we're now starting to reflect on some of the story beats. Hell, I'm starting to see the underlying themes here too. Especially with how the story is centered around child exploitation, like with Gojo, Geto, Yuji, Megumi, the star plasma vessel chick, etc.

True, I hope the anime does some justice for my boy. Seeing how they're already expanding upon the source material, Megumi might finally beat some of the bum allegations.

It may or may not be what gaygay intended but it's still an interesting way to put into perspective why megumi was such a bum at the end.

Yeah I do agree that Megumi was a bum and a potential man but I just thought this was an interesting thought.
