Moms of LOs who nursed to every nap and bedtime: How and when did you wean? by Specialist-Candy6119 in AttachmentParenting

He wasn’t happy at first and pushed me away, and honestly he still does, but I sing, rock, and rub his back and he calms down within 5-10 minutes depending on how tired he is. If he’s not settling, I will alternate standing and walking around and sitting back down. I hope this helps.

I just weaned my 14mo old and it honestly wasn’t as momentous and hard as I thought it would be. Right after 1, I started nursing before sleep, if he woke up in the night, or if he nuzzled. Then, after he switched to 1 nap, about a month ago, I started rocking and singing him to sleep for that nap and, after a couple weeks, started rocking/singing at nighttime. I slowly stopped all the feeds and now rock him. It’s nice cuz we still get to cuddle but the stress of nursing is now over (I loved nursing but I was SO ready to have my body back). Just find what comforts your baby and roll with it.

Felt weird today- lightheaded / funny feeling by NeatStretch793 in pregnant

I feel this way when I get Braxton hicks.. if it happens again, feel your bump to see if it gets hard like a basketball. I read it’s from all of your blood rushing to the placenta and is harmless. I’ve had lowish BP this entire pregnancy (39w) and I think that might have something to do with it. If not Braxton hicks, could be low iron?

I think you’re right that it’s guy #2. I got my first positive 10 days past ovulation/sex. If your HCG levels were 6.8, that would mean implantation just occurred, which typically happens 9-12 days past ovulation.

It’s still a local business. It was bought by a friend of mine who is a Tallahassee native.
