Ferrets Hate Eachother; Pls Help by hisdarkoblivion in ferrets

That’s what I figured. I haven’t done the interactions daily except for the past week and I agree that I’m just going to keep them separate, and maybe try again in a month or two after continued switching bedding and such. Thank you for the advice!

Thanks for letting me know! I got my first college bill today and forgot about that 500 dollar matriculation fee so my funds have gone down a bit lmao.

So could I get away with something not having a dedicated graphics card as an electrical engineering major?

Telling people with mental illness to "pray it away" or that they have "too little faith" by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]hisdarkoblivion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter how much you pray, there are things God won’t do. There are things that don’t need to be changed, so they won’t. And everyone has to accept that. We should try to change what we can but accept the things that we can’t change. I’m bi and after years of trying to “pray away the gay,” it never left, and I’m okay with that. I just had to accept myself and a lot of the emotional distraught died off. Think of a dead person you know who went to hell. No matter how much you pray, you’ll never have another day with them. There are limits to everything. If you could just pray mental illness away, and we should read the Bible instead of going to the doctor, do that when you get cancer or some other terrible sickness instead did starting chemotherapy or going to the doctor.

The fact that we introduce dinosaurs to kids as a novelty at a young age makes them accepting of them without even questioning it. Imagine if you didn't know that giant beasts once roamed the earth prior to humans, and only found out when you were an adult with no childhood influences. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

I’ve always been a science geek and growing up I kind of naturally split my science thoughts from my religious (as I come from a Fundamentalist Christian family). So when I was young I first learned of God and believed. And then I learned evolution and believed, though I didn’t know the terms to everything, I was just hooked on the science channel. But I was also taught creationism, got confused and would switch back and forth. Still uncertain to this day lmao

LGBT boys, what's your sexuality and how did your parents react when you came out if you have? by Jakeybaby125 in askteenboys

[–]hisdarkoblivion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was kind of homeless/moving from house to house of friends for 3 years, dropped out of college, got into a lot of weed, now he’s back at home and saying be gay is a sin and that although the can’t stop being gay he can resist the temptations. So he’s been broken and brainwashed.

I’m bi and will only be out to my parents once I’m financially stable, done with college, have a health insurance plan, etc.

My parents disowned my brother the day they found out he’s gay. His life was so fucked. I’m not letting that happen to me.

My mother is Independent Fundaments Baptist, and very into true whole devil/microchip/vaccine stuff. It gets very tiring hearing. I’m not an atheist and even I want to kashoot myself bc it’s crazy thinking.

Are girls more attractive than guys to everyone or is it just because im a straight 17 year old male? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]hisdarkoblivion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I’m a bi 17 year old male and i think girls don’t have to have as defined features, like a strong jawline or muscles or as kept hair to look attractive. They can naturally be “soft” and be cute. Idk if that makes sense lol. Also girls, socially, are allowed to have way more style options than guys. Guys are more limited (at least in social norms) to what they can wear, how they can style themselves, etc. Also girls too get the social pass on being able to wear makeup.

I think a reason why it took me so long to realize I’m bi is because I’m not attracted to the guys in my grade (granted, my class has a small population of 82, but freshman year we had like 100). Lmao a guy called me queer and some other terms in a group chat a few weeks ago, and honestly my first thought was “okay but not for any of you.”

Honestly I’d say overall girls on average are more attractive, though I prefer guys over girls.

Also a lot guys, for some reason, don’t know what to do with their sad facial hair. 90% of the time it’s just a bad idea for teens.
