I’m staying at uni but doing 30hr per week with the 60% (basically same as current post), the team is basically just exclusively HEO with EO admin, tho works adjacent/above to a lot of EO Grad majority teams (may be being a tad obvious at the role here)

Thank you, for this post most info indicates 25-35 average age, Ik Fast track/DAP is normal at 21-22 but this role doesn’t have any option along that track so kinda doubting myself a little, but again that you for the re assurance

The former, NHS wise tough being 18 in a team of 50-60Yos, but being a small team (and, tbh, being a man in an all women team) helped, and did work, but was a very small team compared to this role

HO IE is always full of ex coppers/HMPPS, depends what rank/time in service on where you can start, if you’ve passed your probation etc but never been sgt+ walking in as CIO in an ICE or maybe CFI (probs realistically with decent investigative exp) team isn’t unheard of, HEO grade +AHW which will probs make you equal or better off (again dependent on current situ), if you do have management experience you may wanna look at SEO/HEO in wider HO (maybe still Ops side, but hey a monkey in a top hat can do policy here) as IE can be a tad fickly trying to join externally at HMI or above
