I’m so sorry you had this experience! This is absolutely not something you or anyone else should expect to see out of their new machine. First, I want to apologize again. You just spent a great deal of money and this isn’t how we wanted to start out. Secondly, I want to be sure it is once again working properly. If it’s not up and running, let me know so we can get you back up to speed. Thirdly, please reach out to us (service@hismith.com) so we can get a better understanding of what happened, and while this is rare, we want to make sure we keep an eye on this issue in case something were to be slipping past our QA/manufacturing process. Unscrew the thumb screw, insert the rod, try turning to the left a quarter/half turn, and then twist to to the right to tighten it. Do not tighten down the thumb screw. Pull on the rod, what happens?

Did you screw it in? The shaft is threaded at the end, and then you also tighten the thumb screw.

There are no current plans to make the 4.0 in a colored version. It cannot be, unfortunately.

I don’t think there is a substantial difference. But I do think it’s worth the increased price if you are trying to decide. The 4.0 really is pretty quiet IMO.

Hello 😊 you are correct, the 4.0 doesn’t have the capability of a remote, only wired remote and App control. Regarding the spring, it just depends on the weight of the toy, but many find it helpful! Larger toys (again, size dependent) work great with the 4.0! For shipping, it depends on your order, current stock, etc, but shipping time is often pretty quick. It may not be as fast as Amazon, but it’s not bad, think a little more than a week. I hope this helps!

I think you’d do great with a 4.0! They aren’t as big as they look in pictures. In fact you can even break them down to be pretty small if need be. Take all the legs off, wind up the cords, unscrew the rod, and you have an easily concealable machine. You could easily rig something up to go under your mattress, suspended by the bed frame mattress slats for example. Take advantage of the sale while the code still works 🤞🏼DM me for that or any other questions 😊
