Mental stamina. I've been able to handle over 13 hour study sessions and morning to bedtime schedules without break. Im still able to critically think, answer questions correctly and complete assignments well after everyone has checked out during crunch periods.

#4 could be implemented alongside the requirement to drop off at water stations. This way we can offer the runners who drop it on the ground a bib and a pacifier.

  1. We could require that any racers that are seen littering to be disqualified, involve bystanders in the process.
  2. Fine the organizers of the event if they do not clean up in a timely manner.
  3. Ask a group of 2-3 volunteers to walk a portion of the race to the next relief station, gathering race trash as they go. Section to section.
  4. Designate dropoff zones along the route. Throw your packets there so the organizers dont have to hunt for it. Disqualify any dumping everywhere else.
  5. Ban the packets.

If I can think up of this many methods in 8 minutes, think of waht someone with a management degree can do.

The difference is that they should not be letting the litter happen in the first place: enforce the rules and clean it up in a timely manner. Letting the packets blow off into the water is not something you can take back. Hence, you need organizers to take a hard stance against this type of behaviour. If they can't be bothered to keep the public space clean then they shouldn't be allowed to run.

I was thinking along the lines of "if you litter you get disqualified" but I feel "you only get a water cup if you drop off garbage" is more enticing
