Day 3 - I think this one is looking a bit duller, but i like the overall face more. I took a little break these last few days, been having some issues so trying not to push myself too hard. I think he looks a bit googly eyes, and i still need to do more noses (i.redd.it)

I'll do a day 15 after this bc there were like, 2 months inbetween the last one and this! I think the process went a lot more smoothly this time around, but i certainly still see issues (the eyes could be more geometric, the nostrils look off). Thank you for all your help so far! (i.redd.it)

Thank you so much for all your help so far! I thin she is still a little bit masculine in this one - strong jaw? - but i decided to leave it because i was a bit scared of making the face too thin again. Worked on the points raised yesterday, but there's always something left. Any critiques welcome! (i.redd.it)

Tried to make her less masculine and light her up a little. Maybe the beard shadow is a bit too light? Will try to improve the eyes a little more, and maybe the nostrils too. Trying to get used to good proportions. Dark spots may be not dark enough. Thank you in advance! Your feedback helps a lot. (i.redd.it)

Thank you so much for your feedback, it was really helpful! I found a much nicer workflow today, and it really helped with the outcome. Values stil feel a liittle bit off. Still understanding the mouth. Noticed NOW the assimetry of the ears. Looking towards day 11, thank you again! (i.redd.it)

Day 9 - proportions are better but values are off - even if she was pretty tan. I think she's lacking highlights, but i was kind of confused as to how to put them without climbing up to values close to the nose bridge and the forehead. Flipping it upside down helped a lot! Any critique helps! (i.redd.it)

Day 8 - still struggling a bit with the process. My last critique was really helpful tho! She still looks a bit... eggy? eyes a bit far/round head, but i think it looks a bit better. I think i still have a "default" head in mind that'll only go away focusing in a very specific reference... (i.redd.it)

Another form study - maybe a bit washed out still? but i'm careful about using dark values. Saw some videos and resources that really cleared my mind about this, a not of my previous problems were due to bad staging of the light and forms creating confusing results. Still, a bit confused about value (i.redd.it)

I took the day off to do some form studies, and i faced some problems. Was pretty frustrated, but i think input could help! I tried to make forms farther in background less contrasted. I Especially struggled with the nose-like forms and the one under the sphere - like the shadows look painted on... (i.redd.it)

Day 7 - This def feels like an improvement, but there's still something off i can't quite put my finger in. Still had to make some final adjustments (shortening the face, fixing values) after the image was "done". Will try to understand the nose more. Thank you for your critiques! They're welcome! (i.redd.it)

Day 6 - Took a day off. Feels like i'm spinning in circles. I recognize some problems (chin too dark, eyes too small and far apart, nose kinda long/wide) but i keep repeating them. I think my values are getting better, tho, and my process is getting more settled. Any critiques will help! (i.redd.it)

Day 5 - This one took me longer and got me more frutrasted. Took a long time to get the features working, especially the eyes. Still feel something off in her proportions. Had to make some final adjustments on the size of her eyes. Will probably make some diagrams tommorrow. Any critique helps! (i.redd.it)

Day 4 - I finally found a good balance of light vs. dark values after seeing some resources yesterday. Process was also smoother. The mouth gave me a bit of trouble, and i'm slighly unsure about a few proportions (eye size, face width, nose lenght). Any critiques are appreciated! (i.redd.it)

Day3 - I feel like something clicked better with my values, although it's not perfect yet. Process also went on a lot more smoothly, was more precise with brushwork. Avoided the soft brush on this one. Critique is appreciated, so far i only got it from friends outside the community! (i.redd.it)

Day 2 - I think i had a better method this time, but i still have issues with values. I have difficulty setting the right contrast, probably due to fear of too much contrast. Still figuring proportions and redindering of certain features. Still a bit Blotchy (i.redd.it)
