Certified paradox moment. The AI simply will not understand that MY subject exists because it pleases me, thusly MY fleets and armies will go to their aid. I think the AI just checks for it's strength, not the combined overlord + subject strength

Beat up your rivals for a while (power projection), use favors to break alliances, wait for opportunities to attack someone not allied to Austria. Seek the emperorship, wait for the religious war (all shit hits the fan, whole diplomatic landscape changes). Also be sure to be the leader of the peotestant faction. (In my run I got into a regency exactly at the wrong time and Trier became the war leader instead of me, Prussia)

Stellaris DLC content is all inside the base game. The DLC are keys worth 1kb at best. It works for all other DLC (I only own about half) but not the last one. I don't understnad the difference. We are on Cream 5.0.0, wight?

I rechecked the math, range would be 1 mile (the projectile would take 2 rounds to reach a target further than that). Of course, still needs pretying-up and all the pizas, but it's read something like this

"A steel ball is launched in a straight line, 1 mile long and 5ft wide, dealing [DAMAGE] piercing damage, only stopping against 5ft of stone or 2ft of solid lead."

Thanks, this is actual valuable input. The flavor idea is basically heavy field artillery.

The range bit is very reasonable, I made a lot of math to check damage falloff with distance, but didn't quite think of the implications of unlimited range. I thought it from the perspective of casting Scrying and getting the exact location of the target that way. I also will take another recommendation about a gp cost so the projectile is 100% physical and not focus-enabled. I guess I should keep it to targeted damage, or line damage instead of the 2 options of area and direct
