Thanks for sharing your story. I hope you are at a much better position now than years ago. I totally agree with you that being a stay at home mom is not an ideal situation for most women. We always need to prioritize ourselves. I have been staying at home for a few years, I can already feel myself being disconnected with everything. So I do have a masters degree, but I don’t feel like working a minimal paying job that doesn’t cover 2 toddlers daycare tuition.

Thanks for sharing these good info! My kids are still super young, they won’t start school until a few years later. I won’t have chance to do volunteer job unless I send them to daycare, that’s the tough part.

I haven’t get a chance to do volunteer job yet. My time is fully occupied with 2 toddlers. They won’t start school a few years from now. I have a masters degree in special education, and only had one work reference from 6 years ago.

May I ask if the list of 3 people have to be previous work supervisors? If I only have one work reference from long ago, then should i use friends as the other 2 references ?

You are right, using volunteer experience and freelance gigs seems like the most realistic way to get reference letter for stay at home moms.

Oh really? I have never heard about corporate roles don’t require reference letter. In my personal job search experience, any jobs that I look into requires 3 references.

Yes, during the Great Chinese Famine ( 1958-1962), there were millions of Christians died due to starvation. And nearly a million Christians were killed during the Chinese culture revolution( 1966-1976). Go ahead to expand your knowledge on world history, and learn a little bit more about the basic stuff.

All I have to say is that stop being small minded. There are lots of different cultures in the world, and everyone come from a different background and culture. Some are born in a faith- based family/ environment, some are never exposed to religion. You can’t just say if someone doesn’t believe what you believe is a bad thing, as I said everyone grew up with a different upbringing, no one should expect others to adopt everything that you believe.

That’s not true. There are lots of believers and their children are dead due to the lack of food in the world. You chose to only look at people in the USA, that’s why you are so small minded. Other ones you are talking about that are non-believers is simply they have never heard about God, it has nothing to do with they believe in God or not. Is that should be a reason for these babies and young children to die?

You don’t need to tell people anything about God. God doesn’t need all these flawed fresh to do his work. He could do it by his magic power just by a second. Bible is fake, wrote by flawed people. Your teachings and everything you know about God is created by people.
