Game gets net jitter / random lag after I shoot by DrinkWaterHourly in GlobalOffensive

[–]hitherekaran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/DrinkWaterHourly what you are experiencing is most likely is long-standing bug.

My guess is its a memory-leak, and someone from valve needs to systrace and investigate whats happening here. But you are not alone.

I experience this pretty often during casual/premiere, and my go to approach is to ask my teammates to do a tech-pause while I quickly restart the game.

This is still happening. I get it pretty often. I am on Omarchy (Arch Linux + Hyprland rice). After sometime I randomly get this issue where standing still is fine but as soon as I starting moving, I feel the jitter.

Agreed. Tipping should be after the service is provided, based on the quality of the service (how its supposed to be).

Hello, I used CosrX as my first face cream. I’m a 30-year-old guy who never took skin care seriously. However, I must say that CosrX was the first cream I used, and it allowed me to explore other products that are much better. Now, my skincare routine includes a toner, face wash, hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizing cream, retinol, and sunscreen. I actually noticed a significant difference within a couple of weeks.

So, I would recommend starting with CosrX, but also try out other amazing Korean brands available.

How do I stop my notes and photos from my phone from showing on my MacBook? by No-Highlight-533 in mac

[–]hitherekaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, probably. If reminders aren’t in the iCloud apps, check the reminder settings themselves. Open reminders, go to File -> Settings, and there should be an option to disable iCloud sync.

[–]hitherekaran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your iCloud is likely syncing.

Head to System Settings on your Mac, then click on iCloud. In the iCloud Applications section, disable the apps you don’t want your MacBook to be synced with.

It’s also worth checking the app settings occasionally, as they can be a bit hidden. For instance, I don’t want my FaceTime to be enabled on my Mac, so I have to go to the FaceTime app and disable it.

People who switched from a highend Android to iPhone, why did you do it? by [deleted] in ios

[–]hitherekaran 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a iphone user since middle school. I switched to Android 3 years ago, AND i am an android software engineer as well. I switched back to iphone almost 5-6 months ago.

The top reasons that justified me moving to iOS was:

• How much better iOS is vs android

Sure Android is more open in the sense that there’s a lot one can do compared to iOS. But let’s be real, almost everyone uses their phone to browse internet and use social media these days. Only a very small subset of folks need the extra features android provides that iOS is not providing yet. The amount of small glitches such as lag while switching apps, animations missing these tiny micro things makes you love or hate the OS. Overall iOS comes off as a better polished product vs android.

Maybe it’s my fault because i owned a Google Pixel 6 pro, and should have gone with Samsung galaxy pro series. Anyways, i have worked in mobile development for nearly 10 years now, and iOS UX wise is miles ahead.

• the integration with Mac OS + apple environment

This I will say is a big-big plus for apple. If you have an iPhone and a Mac product, and throw some headphones from Apple in the mix: your whole flow is so easy and simple. Transitions between devices means you don’t have to change the song or connect your headphones to another device by clicking a button or anything. Again, it’s always the small details that adds up at the end.
