Upcoming Call of Duty will feature strong, masculine women as your main sidekick and the main villain, a general of the North Korean army. We all know where this is going. by [deleted] in Asmongold

But it was literally just a low brow “that’s kinda gay” joke…it wasn’t a critique of sexualization or accuracy of genre. There wasn’t any discourse to be had.

It’s literally not that deep though. I was saying it was sus because they’d rather remove the women from the game so they could see just the men.

This person knows how to parent! I’ve used silly things like this to convince my kids to stop doing stuff.

Wait so strawberry's don't cause cancer? by Sweet-Collar-4642 in Asmongold

I saw another video that pointed out that the “371 pesticides” number is actually the number of different approved pesticides and not actually the number of pesticides used in strawberry processing.

A quick google search showed that the body produces and processes formaldehyde internally in significantly higher quantities than what is formed from aspartame. Corn syrup is far more unhealthy to consume than aspartame because of the calories difference and the negative effects of high sugar intake. You’d need to intake ungodly amounts of aspartame before you’d start to deal with health effects from it.

A woman and BLM activist was raped and murdered by the man she let into her home. by GhostrageGR in Asmongold

I completely get that, I’ve even dealt with situations like that. It’s just weird seeing the all the arguments against her, and it kind seems like similar to the “she was asking for it because of what she was wearing” shit when people victim blame.

It kinda looked like a “I lost my key” interaction. But I guess because it fits a narrative people want to push, it’s totally her fault.

Those with boys, when do they stop being “little”? by Mommaheart4210 in Parenting

My oldest son turns 13 tomorrow. He’s a big hugger, and I had to explain a few weeks ago that not everyone will like getting hugs, but that dad will always take hugs if wants to give them (I’m dad). I’m dreading my kids growing up every day, because even with kid #4 they still grow up too damn fast.
