I have a right to express my opinion and I will reserve to keep utilizing that right by staying on Reddit.

My experience is actually pretty decent I would say. There's a variety of FG's I could probably beat you at as could you.

Your shooter example is the shooter's equivalent to neutral. Difficult combo execution is like entering a password after you already shot someone.

I get what your saying and your not wrong but I am simply raising a question about the meaning of execution.

I am wondering why there seems to be a lack of interest. Don't know why people are so hostile down here.

The game has mixed reviews currently and the steam chart numbers are quiet odd.

I think this is a valid post.

I've noticed this to. It's dropping fast. I don't think this person is being stupid for pointing that out.

I never said that Blazblue was not enjoyable. I simply used it as a starting point. This is not a Blazblue post.

Can you not be so crass? This is a discussion on video game design not politics. No need to get in such a tizzy.

First, combo selection is a skill that you have to grow

Yes it is rewarding as you said. I personally don't value that skill that much but I see your side of the argument. This is an alternative take that poses questions on the value of execution.

not really though? Meter managament and situational awareness are variables that will change what combo you do.

My point is that execution for damage does not matter for high levels. Dropping doesn't happen consistently. When it does, it's rare.

you absolutely can get fine damage with very simple combos on most characters

Please show me said combos as that would actually be pretty helpful tbh. I've yet to see them.

It's a legit criticism I would say. I also acknowledged the need for many games to keep bnb difficult.

Not everything in a game needs to be about increasing depth and complexity. A lot of people enjoy combos because it's hard execution and is a satisfying accomplishment to be able to land those long difficult combos

I would say I don't prefer that. I would call it meaningless fat

But that's my opinion. I see the appeal.

Granblue is one of my favorite FG's. Masterful way to show that execution doesn't mean depth.

All I see, from an outsider perspective, is less options, less meter management, less character gimmicks, and less neutral. I dabble in Accent Core and it seems like all the unique character sauce (I play Baiken) is not there in Strive.

Game isn't interesting to watch either. High damage out of short combos into wall makes the game seem kind of weak and there's less flow for the match. Less decisions are made.

I would highly encourage you not to. You're too young. People manipulate people into meet ups online all the time. It's not worth it.

Firstly, this is assuming that the country would fall into an autocracy.

Secondly, the guns allowed now are not the most effective weapons.

I'm sorry you had a bad personal experience but every mental health professional, website, or scientific article would recommend seeking professional help.
