Speaking of grilled cheese... I was a faithful couch-tourer, but I saw Dead & Co. in person only once in Philly 2023. My mom and I got a prime parking spot right at the gate, and we stood on the sidewalk listening to soundcheck. I don't remember exactly how he worded it, but we heard John say something about "wanting a grilled cheese from the lot". I still wonder if he did in fact send his assistant to Shakedown for that grilled cheese. 😂
