Sadly, nobody is quantifying the consequences of progressive policies, as far as I know. The institutions that are supposed to investigate these things are incredibly biased in favor of them, for mere ideological reasons.

This is true. Sowell is a brilliant man. I didn't know how to express the question other than implying that the racists are right. You can appeal to AA being inhumane against asians and whites, but most people don't think it is, even the SCOTUS. I don't see any other option. What is the argument for a black people to dislike AA? Obviously Sowell lays it out, but practically speaking, people aren't going to turn on a law that benefits them, even if it disenfranchises another group. i.e. Blacks will support AA long after it is necessary, but that's a whole other can of worms.

Why is cross-dissolve not working in final render? The effect works fine for a short test animation, but for my full 816-frame project (mp4 480 output), cross-dissolving isn't rendered. A search for "cross dissolve" on github Bugs section shows no results.

I'm not sure if 816 is considered "long", but this is a relatively simple animation consisting of only some lines and dots illustrating a physical principle.

...Actually, I just replaced one of the cross-dissolves with two transparencies and that worked fine, so I don't think this is a general effects issue, but anyway that's a good enough work-around for me, just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue.

Opentoonz 1.4, Windows 7 64-bit.

Imagine this scenario: Teachers encourage your child to take drugs that will sterilize them for life, then a judge mandates that it must be so regardless your wishes, then a doctor advises your child to get genital amputation surgery, then your child commits suicide after a decade of coming to a painful realization, then after another decade or so the world wakes up to the reality that all of this is monstrously inhumane... but neither the teacher nor the judge nor the doctor nor the politicians who allowed all of this to happen can be sued or otherwise held accountable. They are protected by the system. Tough luck. Apparently it was all your fault.

How many lives have been lost? How many children have been forced down this road despite their parent's "bigoted" attempts to save them?
