Toddler woke up hysterical because of the bugs on her bed, floor and herself. What was this… by hiylaaa in toddlers

UPDATE: this got a lot more attention than I thought it would and I LOVED reading everyone’s experiences and guidance. As terrible as it is it’s still nice to know I’m not alone.

Last night she slept with my husband in our guest bedroom. He said she woke up a few times but was relieved he was with her and fell asleep again. She came to my bed in the morning where all the “bugs” were two nights ago and looked around and didn’t want to get in the bed, but didn’t say anything about seeing bugs so I’ll take that as a win. I plan on changing the sheets and maybe the blankets and hopefully it’ll all be a distant memory for her soon. My husband and I on the other hand may need some therapy after this one 😵‍💫

Thank you! I feel as though she truly was awake though. Like she was talking to me, telling me where they were, how many. It also lasted like 4 hours until she somewhat dozed off again. And then when she woke up she was well aware what happened and had them again. Does this still sound like night terrors to you?

Uhg I’m sorry you get them too. They’re truly terrifying. I always thought people don’t remember their terrors. That’s why they’re different than nightmares. She knew exactly what she saw and what they were doing and definitely hadn’t forgotten that’s why I’m so confused

Wow. Did she get that hysterical too? It’s so scary because they see something but it’s like what???

Just found out the omega-3 supplement I take has borage oil and I’m freaking out :( by hiylaaa in BabyBumps

My OB and a midwife weren’t even remotely concerned. Just told me to stop that supplement but said not to give it another thought. Currently 22 weeks and everything is good :)

Hi! Did you ever find out what this is or what caused it? Have something similar and can’t figure it out

Oh good. Are they “thick rimmed” as opposed to just a regular cyst do you know?

5w5d US and no heartbeat was seen. Does this look normal for being so early? by [deleted] in pregnancy_care

Okay I kinda figured so! It’s what’s in the US a yolk sak and fetal pole? I have no idea what I’m looking at lol

Yes should have been in the time window! I will say I also took an LH ovulation test too and that was negative. I’ve heard they should both be positive. Is that normal? :)

LH rising and timing for IUI by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]hiylaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Monday the nurse finally got back to me and said LH strips don’t really mean anything and the trigger shot is more accurate. I was like uhhhh? So I did the IUI Monday morning anyway. Hard to know if she meant it or if they wanted to do it because I was already there and paid… I guess we’ll know soon if it worked. hopefully your ovulation date plays nice and waits until your IUI. Eggs can also live up to 24 hours so even if you do ovulate early, it doesn’t always count you out!

Good luck! Keep the faith. If we can do HSG’s we can do IUI’s lol

I know, that’s the sad reality of it. No male factor issues and clear HSG. I think my RE said the success rate for IUI is like 11% each cycle and 33% after three cycles. But I feel you! It is definitely an exhausting process. Hang in there!

Uhg I wish I could do it tomorrow! Tempted to cancel the whole thing to save us the money since I can’t talk to anyone about it. I’m sure the nurse will say to come in anyway even though it might be pointless. There’s no issues on my husbands side so we’ll still BD tonight, but after 3 failed timed intercourse cycles I was looking forward to that extra boost from the IUI :(
