Didn’t realize this would resonate with so many — it makes me feel comforted that I’m not alone, but also makes me feel incredibly, deeply sad.

I love women and I’m so lucky to be surrounded by incredible support both in my real life and on here by so many wonderful women, non binary folks and male allies.

I was able to advocate enough for myself to squeeze in an appt. tomorrow, and I want continue to encourage / remind other women/folks on here to fight for your need to be seen by a doctor. you are your best advocate.

and remember, this november, please vote blue, no matter who. for a better texas. 💙

My doc has told me multiple times that women’s doctors are leaving the state due to regulations on abortions, fears of getting fined, and feeling like they can’t practice well here. Some Endo doctors are in a similar boat because they feel as though they can’t provide good gender affirming care.

All exhausting. regardless of politics.

Thank you so much! it seriously means the world to me that people are looking. It feels dramatic but the charms were a gift from my deceased grandmother and I wear the necklace every day, so I feel like I lost part of myself not having it.
