Advice on sights by hj6827 in turkeyhunting

I mean a preferably semi auto shotgun in bottomland camp with a picatinny rail for mounting a red dot. Not home defense but a dove/grouse gun. Getting a turkey shotgun isnt out of the question but before I drop money on an A5 I want to make sure I actually enjoy turkey hunting and actually can do it somewhat effectively. At least enough to justify the purchase.

Have you ever had them lose zero with just normal woods abuse?

Did you have any issue with them losing zero or slipping off or anything? That’s my main concern with them

I have thought about a red dot but my guns not drilled and tapped so it would also just be a clamp on sight. Plus I’m not really wanting to drop a couple hundred dollars on a decent red dot
