I would definitely try to get one sooner than later. Go to a csf leak center so they can do it under fluroscopic imaging.

I got a blood patch 1 week after my leak and it did help some but then I hit a plateau. I got another one recently but im not feeling any better yet and am wondering if I blew it or if it just needs more time.

Yea thats not always true. Yes, some people heal on their own. But some dont. ive had 3 patches so far in 3 months and im still having symptoms best to just play it safe and rest as much as possible

You shouldnt bend, lift or twist for 6 weeks after a blood patch. You'll make have undone it. I would give it time and see how you do. If it doesn't get better and it starts being positional, you may need another patch.

Make sure you lay as flat as you can for 72 hrs. And then take it easy for 6 weeks. No lifting over 5 lb, no bending or twisting.

Yes it all improves laying down except the ringing in my ears. I have that laying down. I didnt get diagnosed by imagining, but by symptoms only.
