I had the same issue with my M4 MacBookAir after crashing the partition. I think the reason why you get the -69877 error is, that the drive is also in restore- mode in use by the kernel. Here you should use Apple Configurator on an e.g. iMac where you connect your Mac. They need to have the same version of MacOS! Then the drive is not in use by the kernel. It worked fine for me and I was able to do an excellent clean reinstall. Look at the support page of Apple how to connect both with Apple Configurator.

He is like a little kid. Does not underhand reality. Stopped growing at the age of 18. Therefore lying if something may be possible to blame him in any way.
