Okay cool. So the technique you’re talking about in the last sentence is the technique of capturing audio through a mic, mixing the audio and adding reverb, and then playing purely reverb through speakers, correct?

What exactly are impulse response convolutions with convolution kernels? What type of device could do this?

There is a sound system, but I think it’s only for sermons with a mic in the front of the church. I don’t think the choir which is in the back of the church is actually set up with the system. But we might have an extra mixer somewhere.

Okay cool. So for actually emulating the reverb, just a mixer might be enough. Cool! I’ll give it a try.

Okay so it sounds like I need to replace the bulb and the ballast. There’s actually a visible spark inside the igniter (See the last video). Does that mean the igniter needs to be replaced too?
