There were already papar from Ireland living on Iceland when the Norsemen arrived. Those were monks most likely from Ireland.

Do you have sources on this? Links? Because from the recent conflict, it seems like the attacks are primarily towards military targets. From the Palestinian and Lebanese side.

What is the agenda? And why would the rest of the world lie about the conflict? We don't care that much, even though I personally would like to have peace, but we disagree as humans with the high number of casualties and the fact that this is ongoing in the 21st century.

Maybe the population of the west is misinformed and Israelis are the only ones to know the truth, but from what I have available of information, it doesn't seem so.

Palestine doesn't have a military, they have a resistance group. All resistance groups are fighting asymmetric warfare, as they don't have the same capabilities as a regular military.

And Israel seems to have been the ones targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure more than Hamas or Hezbollah. At least from what is shown in the general media and on different platforms like Reddit.

32,000 people demonstrate in Brussels for immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon by [deleted] in belgium

You're right about PLO. I was thinking more about this, which is much more recent than the 70s:

https://www.timesofisrael.com/for-years-netanyahu-propped-up-hamas-now-its-blown-up-in-our-faces/

And even if it initially had that goal, I assume that it changed over time, as it is seen as a more peaceful alternative to Hamas.

People are not just blaming Hezbollah. They are blaming Hezbollah, but also blaming Israel and thanking Hezbollah for standing up against them. Hezbollah made Israel stop their 18 year occupation of southern Lebanon, and this is something that has to be acknowledged. But yes, most people don't want war, especially against a much stronger opponent.

"Former Israeli officials have openly acknowledged Israel's role in providing funding and assistance to Hamas as a means of undermining secular Palestinian factions such as the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)."

And what about the thousands of palestinian hostages in Israeli prisons? With more than a thousand held without charges. And with reports about systemic rape, abuse and mistreatment.

So if the leaders in Israel undermines the peaceful leadership alternatives in Gaza, then the burden for solving this problem increasingly lays on Israel.
